Prevent bluetooth pairing dialog covering the screen
A full-screen "Bluetooth remote control pairing" dialog appears on top of the playing content and pushes the player into the background.
Any Bluetooth remote, keyboard or phone in pairing mode near the device can trigger it. Nothing has to be paired with the device for this to happen — a Bluetooth stack restart is often enough for a nearby remote to be picked up.
Fix: enable kiosk mode
Enable kiosk mode on the device. In kiosk mode the player runs in Android's lock task mode, and lock task mode does not let other apps take over the foreground — the pairing dialog can no longer cover the content.
This is the recommended setting for all unattended signage devices; it also blocks the Android launcher, the settings app and the shutdown dialog from appearing over the playback.
If kiosk mode cannot be enabled
Turn Bluetooth off on the device, or disable only the receiver that opens the dialog (leaves Bluetooth usable for an already paired remote):
adb shell pm disable-user --user 0 com.android.tv.settings/.accessories.BluetoothPairingRequest
Re-enable it with pm enable using the same component name.
